Viewers will soon find out on Sunset Tan, a new E! reality series that will follow both the personal and professional lives of staff and clients at one of Los Angeles' most successful and upscale tanning salons.

The six-episode series is scheduled to premiere Monday, May 28 at 10:30PM ET/PT immediately following the premiere of The Simple Life's fifth season, Daily Variety reported Thursday.  Sunset Tan will then move to its regular time period of Sundays at 10:30PM ET/PT.

E! described the cast of Sunset Tan as "unusual, colorful and somewhat dysfunctional," Variety reported, adding storylines will include twins who want to have their names tanned onto their bodies; a recently deceased person whose last wish was to be tan; and a Hawaiian Santa Claus who wants a skin tone darker than what's available on the North Pole.  Celebrity guest stars are also scheduled to make appearances in the salon, according to Variety.

Sunset Tan is produced by E! Studios in association with Intuitive Entertainment, which also produces Bravo's Blow Out reality series.  Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill will serve as executive producers.
