"This has been my dream since I was a kid and Robin picking me to be on Duets has proved I have what it takes to live my career and live my dreams," Olivia said in a video package broadcast of her elimination.

Olivia was ousted after Duets host Quddus revealed she had received the fewest home viewer votes following last week's live performance show -- which had featured the competition's five remaining contestants performing duets with celebrity partners and established recording artists John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Nettles, and Robin Thicke.

Bridget Carrington received the second fewest votes and was the other contestant in danger of elimination prior to Quddus' announcement.

Olivia had been partnered with Robin while Bridget is partnered with John.

"I think the future is great [for Olivia]," Robin told Quddus after the elimination results were revealed.

"She's an amazing human being and she listens really well and she tries really hard each week.  And she got better every single week and I know she'll get better for the rest of her life.  So she's got a long way to go."

After Olivia's ouster, the four remaining contestants -- Bridget, J Rome, Jason Farol, and John Glosson -- each performed a new duet with their celebrity partner and one contestant will be eliminated based on the subsequent home-viewer voting during next week's Duets performance show.
