Some of the unpopular and unpleasant professions Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe will undertake during the 11 new fifth-season episodes include marine salvaging, separating recyclables, hydrodam mechanics, cedar log peeling, glass making, dung beetle researching and fireworks manufacturing.

Dirty Jobs fifth season premiered in January and included the reality series 200th episode special, which was broadcast in February and included Rowe reflecting back on some of his experiences during past jobs, examining Dirty Jobs' evolution, talking about the toughest co-workers he's dealt with, and revisiting the show's most memorable and unexpected moments.

In addition, the series was recently nominated for its second consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Reality Program.

Dirty Jobs premiered on Discovery in 2005 and is produced by Pilgrim Film & Television and executive produced by Pilgrim founder Craig Piligian.
