Denise Richards' publicist says the U.S. actress and reality TV personality has adopted a baby girl.

Richards -- who has two daughters with her ex-husband, actor Charlie Sheen -- is a cast member of "Blue Mountain State."

She also has appeared in the films "Wild Things," "Starship Troopers" and "The World Is Not Enough." She appeared on the reality TV show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated," as well.

UsMagazine.com said Wednesday the 40-year-old actress adopted her youngest child domestically and named her Eloise Joni after her own mother, who died of cancer four years ago.

"Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed," the actress' representative told the celebrity news Web site.

Exactly when Richards adopted the baby and how old she is were not reported.
