Hough -- who dislocated his shoulder while rehearsing on Tuesday prior to the show, according to People -- confirmed the injury following the results show.

"Yes, I dislocated my shoulder," the three-time Dancing with the Stars champion told E! News.

"This week it was bothering me a little bit. I had pain in my neck and I was overcompensating and it went into my shoulder."

However, Hough -- who told E! News the injury was "just a little ping" -- insisted the incident won't impact his ability to continue in the competition with Ricki Lake, his celebrity partner.

"I'll be fine. It happens in dancing. You move on," Hough added.

Hough and Lake have finished in first place on Dancing with the Stars judges' leaderboard each of the last three weeks. During Monday night's performance show, Hough and the former talk show host earned the first 10s of the thirteenth season and received a score of 29 out of 30 possible points from judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
