Riley and Hough finished in first place on the judges' leaderboard during Dancing with the Stars' seventeenth-season Monday night premiere on ABC.

The couple topped the leaderboard after they received 27 out of 30 possible points for their cha cha routine from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Former Bill Nye the Science Guy star Bill Nye and partner Tyne Stecklein finished in twelfth -- and last -- place at the bottom of the leaderboard after they performed a cha cha routine which received only 14 points from the judges.

Second place on the judges' leaderboard was a two-way tie between Disney Channel star Corbin Bleu and partner Karina Smirnoff along with actress and former Step It Up and Dance host Elizabeth Berkley and partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Both couples earned 24 points for their contemporary routines.

Fourth place also represented a tie between former The Osbournes and Armed & Famous star Jack Osbourne and Jersey Shore and Snooki & Jwoww star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. Osbourne and partner Cheryl Burke danced a foxtrot which earned 23 points from the judges, while Polizzi and partner Sasha Farber performed a cha cha which also received 23 points.

Actor and Pretty Little Liars star Brant Daugherty and partner Peta Murgatroyd finished tied for sixth place with singer and former The Voice social media correspondent Christina Milian and partner Mark Ballas. Both couples earned 22 points for their routines. Daugherty and Murgatroyd danced the cha cha, while Milian and Ballas performed a contemporary routine.

Actress Valerie Harper and partner Tristan MacManus finished tied for eighth place with actress and former The Talk co-host Leah Remini and partner Tony Dovolani. Both pairs earned 21 points for their foxtrot routines.

Tenth place went to comedian Bill Engvall and partner Emma Slater with 18 points after they took the stage with a foxtrot routine.

Former NFL football player and Keyshawn Johnson: Tackling Design star Keyshawn Johnson and partner Sharna Burgess finished in eleventh place with 17 points after they performed a cha cha routine.

All 12 seventeenth-season Dancing with the Stars couples will return for another two-hour performance show on Monday, September 23 during which the judges' scoring from both weeks and the home viewer voting results following last night's broadcast will be combined and one couple will be eliminated.
