Celebrity Rehab will reportedly be going on on hiatus because David Drew "Dr. Drew" Pinsky is swamped with his busy demanding schedule, RadarOnline reported Monday.

"The decision was made to put the show on hiatus because Dr. Drew Pinsky is just too busy to continue to do the show," a source told RadarOnline. "The amount of time Dr. Drew has to commit to treating celebrities on the show is a tremendous amount of time."

"Dr. Drew can be seen nightly on HLN's Dr. Drew Show, and this fall, he has another television project he is going to be involved with, Life Changers, which is a Telepictures show."

However, Dr. Drew Pinksy would reportedly love to get the show back on track once things settles down.

Dr. Drew would "absolutely love to revisit doing the show again in the future when he has the time. Dr. Drew really enjoyed doing the show, even though it could be very emotionally grueling at times," the source added.

The fifth season of VH1's Celebrity Rehab -- which premiered last month and is currently airing -- features cast members Michael Lohan, the father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan; actress Sean Young; baseball star Dwight "Doc" Gooden; "Long Island Lolita" Amy Fisher; Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler; actress Bai Ling; former Survivor: Gabon and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains castaway Jessica "Sugar" Kiper; and actor Jeremy Jackson.
