The 88-year-old revealed the news in an exclusive interview with Radar Online. Jenner told the website the 65-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star will address the change in a new TV documentary, and said she supports his choice wholeheartedly.

"I just learned about [his transition]," she related. "Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it. I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He's gifted."

"Right now I am more proud of him for what he's allowing himself to do," she shared. "I am more proud of him now than when he stood on that podium and put the gold medal around his neck. He deserves all the respect ... I just love him like I always have."

Bruce Jenner's changing appearance has caused endless speculation about his rumored transition.

A family source confirmed the change to People earlier this week, and Diane Sawyer will reportedly interview the reality star about his transformation for ABC.
