Bristol Palin is giving reality TV another shot.

Lifetime has announced it has ordered Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp, a new reality series which will document Palin's life as a young single mother living on her own as a member of a high-profile political family, broadcast later this year.

Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp will feature the former eleventh-season Dancing with the Stars participant adjusting to life in Alaska where she will face challenges raising her son Tripp alone while attempting to maintain a strong relationship with her siblings, father Todd, and mother and former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

"From the first moment she was thrust into the public eye, Bristol and her son have been the subjects of a huge amount of curiosity and misunderstanding. This show will reveal the real Bristol Palin and her journey as a daughter, a mother and a young woman making her way in the world," Lifetime executive Rob Sharenow said in a statement.

The 10-episode series will be produced by Associated Television International with Sharenow, David McKenzie, Jim Romanovich, David Martin, Gena McCarthy, and Noah Pollack serving as executive producers. Robyn Schnieders will serve as a co-executive producer.

Bristol Palin: Life's A Tripp is Palin's second docu-reality series deal.

Last year, Lifetime's BIO sister network announced it had picked up a reality show that would feature the young mom moving to Los Angeles with Tripp and living with brothers and Disney Channel stars Kyle Massey -- who also competed on Palin's season of Dancing with the Stars and finished as the runner-up -- and his brother Christopher Massey as she worked at a charity.

Palin reportedly put her Arizona bachelorette pad up for rent with the intention of moving to LA and filming that reality show last June.

However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, BIO quietly killed the show before it was ever broadcast.
