Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Gov. and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, paid cash for a home she purchased in Arizona, her friends said.
The former contestant on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" reportedly told friends she might enroll at an Arizona college after she moves into her new home.
Her new house is near the Arizona State University school of broadcasting and Palin has expressed an interest in public speaking.
The Arizona Republic said the home built in 2006 and sold for $329,560 went into foreclosure in January and was purchased in May by Michael and Cynthia Smith for $137,200.
They fixed it up and put it back on the market.
"I'm not sure why she wanted to buy that home, but we are real happy for her," Michael Smith told the newspaper.
