Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition is reportedly dire after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her home on Saturday.

Brown only is breathing with the aid of a ventilator and has very little brain activity, a family source told People.

While family members are reportedly "praying, hoping for the best," a full recovery by Brown -- who was placed in medically induced coma at a Georgia hospital after she was revived -- is considered unlikely.

"Even minutes [without air] can be grim," Massachusetts General Hospital neurologist Eli Zimmerman told People.

The former The Houstons: On Our Own star, the 21-year-old daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, was found unconscious in a bathtub in her home in Roswell, GA by her husband Nick Gordon on Saturday.

Brown was found "unresponsive, meaning not breathing, no heartbeat," police spokeswoman Lisa Holland told CNN.

Gordon and a friend immediately began CPR on Brown after finding her, and she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance after  police and paramedics arrived.

Brown's incident is eerily similar to the death of her mother Houston, who drowned in a hotel bathtub at age 48 in February 2012.

Brown, Gordon, and several other members of Houston's family then starred in The Houstons, a reality series which aired on Lifetime later that year.
