Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have taken their flirty fling to the next level -- in the air.

The Voice coaches traveled in a private jet together to Nashville on Tuesday, TMZ reported.

Shelton had to fly to Tennessee for the Country Music Awards airing Wednesday night, but Stefani had no reason to go other than to accompany the country singer for fun.

Stefani is not sure whether she'll show up at the awards for Shelton, according to TMZ, especially since his ex-wife Miranda Lambert will be present and also performing onstage.

Multiple sources close to the No Doubt frontwoman insisted Stefani and Shelton are not "in a relationship right now" but they've certainly been spending a lot of time together. Photos have been taken of Shelton getting handsy with Stefani and the couple partying together over Halloween weekend.

"They could be in a relationship in the future but right now they're just good friends," one of the sources told the website without elaborating on what exactly "good friends" meant.

Even if Stefani makes an appearance at the CMAs tonight as Shelton's date, Lambert reportedly won't be phased by it.

"She was not surprised to hear of the romance between Blake and Gwen. They were always pretty flirty. Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility," an insider told E! News.

"Blake is just a flirty kind of charmer. She has nothing against Gwen and thinks she is a very talented artist. Whomever Blake is with she wishes them the best."
