Big Brother featured Michael Bruner winning the Power of Veto and choosing to change his original nominations by putting Daniel Durston and Kyle Capener on the chopping block during the Season 24 episode that aired Wednesday night on CBS.

The Head of Household, Michael, a 28-year-old attorney from Saint Michael, MN who currently resides in Rochester, MN, won the Power of Veto and opted to take a set of three "Festie Besties" off the block: Terrance Higgins, Monte Taylor and Joseph Abdin.

Michael then named Daniel, a 35-year-old Las Vegas performer from Ontario, CA who currently resides in Las Vegas, NV, and Kyle, a 29-year-old unemployed cast member from Bountiful, UT, the replacement nominees.

The Big Brother broadcast began with Monte, Terrance and Joseph on the chopping block and Michael Bruner saying this may be his week to "make a big move."

Monte felt confident "The Leftovers" alliance would keep him safe, and he anticipated Daniel Durston being backdoored. Daniel, on the other hand, was gunning hard to get Monte out of the house.

Jasmine Davis and Alyssa Snider discussed how they should target Monte, and even Terrance wanted his "Festie Bestie" gone since Monte was such a big threat in the house. Daniel and Terrance therefore talked about how they'd like to keep nominations the same.

Taylor Hale then pushed Michael to make a move that would look great on his Big Brother resume. She believed that Daniel had started viewing Monte as the biggest schemer in the house, which essentially let her off the hook.

Kyle Capener hoped the house wouldn't try to backdoor Daniel because then he'd have to sit next to him on the block as his "Festie Bestie."

But Michael needed to determine if it was too early in the game to flip on his big alliance.

It then became time to pick players for the Power of Veto competition, and Michael hoped Daniel and Kyle would get picked because if they won, he wouldn't even have the ability to backdoor Daniel anymore -- and he could pretend with his alliance like he was upset about it.

In addition to the HoH and his bestie, Michael and Brittany Hoopes, as well as the nominates besties -- Monte, Terrance and Joseph -- a pair of besties was also selected by random draw, and that pair was Jasmine and Matthew "Turner" Turner.

Daniel and Terrance then spoke about how Terrance should throw the Veto competition so that Michael could win it and then they'd try to convince him to keep nominations the same. Terrance set out to make sure Monte and Joseph couldn't win it.

The Power of Veto competition was an iconic Otev challenge in which the participating players were required to listen to Otev -- a giant roach dressed up like a cowboy -- sing a song about a previous competition and then find a sauce jar with that song's name on it.

Once a player found the correct sauce, he or she would climb up the ramp and make it back to Otev with the answer. The last person to make it to the top with the correct answer would be out, or if a person answered incorrectly, he or she would be eliminated.

The last person remaining would win the Power of Veto for his or her "Festie Bestie" or besties.

The competition came down to Michael vs. Terrance, and Terrance whispered to Michael on the top of the hill how he needed Michael to win and it would make sense later. Terrance, however, didn't want anybody to know that he was throwing the competition.

Daniel saw a glimmer of hope for his game with those two players remaining.

In the end, Michael won the Power of Veto competition and Terrance was eliminated.

After the competition, Terrance pitched to Jasmine how they should vote out Monte, and Daniel and Terrance began talking to their fellow houseguests about how they should team up to convince Michael to take out one of the biggest threats in the house.

Jasmine attempted to get Alyssa and Indy Santos onboard, and the girls seemed excited about the plan. Terrance also flat out told Michael that this would be a great opportunity -- and maybe the only one -- to make an iconic game move.

Jasmine, Indy and Alyssa all proceeded to tell Michael the same thing, following Terrance and Daniel's request to plant bugs inside Michael's head.

Because everyone in the house pitched the same thing to Michael, the HoH began to worry this was a setup.

Michael became suspicious and told the cameras, "It can't be a coincidence that multiple people have come to me with the exact same plan within just a couple of hours. This has to have been a coordinated effort, and I don't want to do anyone's dirty work."

Michael assumed there was an alliance of five in the house, and Brittany was annoyed someone else, such as Jasmine, was going to try to take credit for the Monte move by saying she had convinced Michael to keep nominations the same.

At the Veto Meeting, Michael and Brittany announced they had decided to use the Power of Veto to save Terrance, Joseph and Monte.

As the Head of Household, Michael named Daniel and Kyle the replacement nominees.

"What's good for the house is good for me. You've rubbed some people the wrong way here, and I hope you take this as an opportunity to apologize. Daniel, please take a seat. And Kyle, you as well," Michael declared.

Michael said Daniel and his allies weren't slick and he saw right through everyone's plan. Michael didn't want to do everyone's dirty work to take out one of his own numbers.

Daniel was disappointed and hoped Michael would use him as a loyal shield going forward. Daniel planned to fight, and he was certain Michael would end up regretting not taking him further in the game.

Terrance accused Michael of being afraid to "take a big shot," and Taylor said seeing Daniel on the block was sweet revenge.
