'Bachelor' winner Helene Eksterowicz honored by high school

This is how fame goes in reality TV: one day, all of America wants to see you -- the next day, you're lucky to be speaking at your former high school. The Associated Press reports that former Bachelor winner (if you could call ending up with the self-absorbed Aaron Buerge "winning") Helene Eksterowicz was honored by her former high school in Gloucester City, N.J. , on Monday for "bringing honor to her hometown."

Menawhile, the rest of America focused on the most recent couple from The Bachelor: Andrew Firestone and Jen Schefft. Oh well, at least no one offered erstwhile prom queen Helene any coffee from Starbucks on her return. We guess that means that home is the one place they love you, no matter what.
