During a brief Skype session on Monday night's Bachelor Live special hosted by Chris Harrison, Roper and Tolbert had an announcement to make.

"We picked the date!" Roper announced with a huge smile across her face.

"It's happening," Tolbert declared.

"And it'll be on ABC," Roper said.

"We're going to televise it," Harrison clarified.

"Yes," Roper noted.

"And Chris, while I have you on the phone, I was going to ask you something. Would you mind maybe officiating [the ceremony]?" Tolbert asked The Bachelor host.

"You want me to officiate your wedding?!" Harrison replied with surprise in his voice.

Harrison then whole-heartedly accepted the couple's offer, saying he loves them both and would be honored to marry them. When asked when the wedding will be, Roper shockingly replied, "within a few weeks." Harrison laughed about the short notice and then congratulated the pair again.

Roper and Tolbert, both 29, got engaged during Bachelor in Paradise's finale, which wrapped in September 2015 on ABC. They made their relationship work in the real world, as Roper moved to Kansas City to be with Tolbert, and now they plan to build a house together.

Roper and Tolbert dated from Day 1 in Paradise, spending every day and night together in Mexico. The fact they were so inseparable all season long made fans anticipate Tolbert popping the question at the end.

The only other match who survived outside of Bachelor in Paradise was Nick Peterson and Samantha Steffen, who according to social media, are still going strong. And while they didn't actually meet on the show, participants Cassandra Ferguson and Jonathan Holloway also started dating after filming.
