Ashley Hebert: I won't wear a white dress at my 'Bachelorette' wedding

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 11/01/2011

Ashley Hebert has revealed she will be a nontraditional bride.

"My dress will not be white!" the seventh-season The Bachelorette star told Us Weekly last week.

While Life & Style reported last month that Hebert and fiance J.P. Rosenbaum -- who proposed to Hebert after she had selected and presented her final rose to him over fellow bachelor Ben Flajnik during The Bachelorette's seventh-season finale -- are planning a spring wedding that will take place "as early as next April," the couple apparently still have yet to set a date.

"We've been having trouble even answering [the question] 'When are you getting married?'" Rosenbaum told Us.

Although Rosenbaum and the former fifteenth-season The Bachelor bachelorette are unsure of when the ceremony will be, the couple is hoping to share their wedding experience with their fans and get married on television -- following in the footsteps of former The Bachelor couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, according to Life & Style.

Hebert and Rosenbaum would reportedly like to exchange vows in California or at a destination along the West Coast after Flajnik's upcoming season of The Bachelor concludes, a presumably pricey event ABC will be footing the bill for.
