Dancing with the Stars contestant Amy Purdy has revealed the seriousness of her injury from Monday night's performance show, but she apparently has every intention of staying in the competition.
"So, Looks like I have a rib out of place and my muscles are in spasm. I am being very proactive in healing up so I can continue this journey," the double-amputee snowboarding champion tweeted Tuesday.
"Please keep the positive healing thoughts and votes coming!!! #purdyhough #dontstopwontstop #DWTS."
Purdy was rushed to the hospital after taking the stage for a rumba routine with her professional partner Derek Hough. She couldn't even compete in the "Team Dance" round of competition.
"Thank you all for the support & well wishes, what a night! I'll update you tomorrow, time for me to get some rest #PurdyHough," Purdy tweeted Monday night. "Sorry we couldn't do our live performance tonight #TeamLoca, but we kicked ass in rehearsal!"
