"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest has received a $21 million birthday present from E! Entertainment Network.

Seacrest, who turned 31 Christmas Eve, signed a three-year multimillion-dollar contract to host, develop and produce a number of shows for the cable channel. His "Idol" duties at Fox will remain unchanged.

In addition to his "Idol" duties, Seacrest will sub for "Larry King Live" on CNN as well as co-host ABC's "Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve," his weekly American Top 40 syndicated radio show and his KIIS-FM "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" morning show.
