'American Idol 4' winner Carrie Underwood to star in CMT special

The whirlwind life of "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood is being captured on film for a special on country music cable channel CMT.

"CMT In the Moment: Carrie Underwood," is scheduled to bow in the fall, Zap2it.com reported Friday.

CMT's cameras shot Underwood's introduction to Nashville after her "Idol" win and includes behind-the-scenes footage of her Grand Ole Opry debut.
