HOME > The Bachelor: RomeABC reveals the identities of its 'The Bachelor: Rome' bachelorettesWith its premiere now only a week away, ABC has released more information about The Bachelor: Rome, including the identities of the twenty-five bachelorettes who will be competing for the heart of Prince Lorenzo Borghese, the ninth Bachelor edition's previously announced bachelor.
Set at a sprawling Italian castle that was built in 1604 by Cardinale Taverna, The Bachelor: Rome's two-hour premiere will begin with the traditional cocktail reception in which the season's twenty-five bachelorettes will vie for Lorenzo's attention. However in addition to competing with each other, the bachelorettes will have some additional competition -- two "gorgeous Italian Cinderellas" that crash the party and plot to steal Lorenzo's heart and attention.
With both sides pulling out all the stops, the tug-of-war over Lorenzo will continue throughout the entire night and end with a sunrise Rose Ceremony -- a Bachelor first -- in which Lorenzo must eliminate fifteen of the twenty-seven women. Similar to other recent The Bachelor editions, the reception will also feature Lorenzo giving an early rose -- plus in another Bachelor first, "a very special sparkling token" -- to one of the women. After narrowing the pool of women to twelve, Lorenzo will continue to get to know the remaining women through a series of group and solo dates that will include visits to the ruins of Rome's ancient Forum, Colosseum and Pantheon; the Trevi Fountain; and the lush Villa Borghese -- a large Roman park that bears Lorenzo's family name. As he has since the long-running reality franchise began, Chris Harrison will once again serve as The Bachelor's host. The twenty-five "regular" bachelorettes appearing on The Bachelor: Rome (ABC isn't revealing the "mystery" of the two Italian beauties until the show's debut) are: • Andrea, a 28-year-old hotel concierge who currently resides in Cincinnati, OH • April, a 23-year-old model who currently resides in Chicago, IL • Brit, a 28-year-old beer chemist who currently resides in Columbus, OH • Carissa, a 25-year-old attorney who currently resides in Morristown, NJ • Claudia, a 22-year-old restaurateur who currently resides in Boca Raton, FL • Desiree, a 22-year-old realtor who currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT • Ellen, a 30-year-old realtor who currently resides in New Haven, CT • Elyse, a 27-year-old physician who currently resides in New York, NY • Erica, a 23-year-old socialite who currently resides in Houston, TX • Gina, a 28-year-old ultrasound technician who currently resides in Chicago, IL • Heather, a 34-year-old registered nurse who currently resides in Aliquippa, PA • Jami, a 27-year-old event planner who currently resides in Galveston, TX • Jeanette, a 23-year-old teacher who currently resides in Bloomingdale, IL • Jennifer, a 24-year-old teacher who currently resides in Pembroke Pines, FL • Jessica, a 25-year-old assistant buyer who currently resides in Charlotte, NC • Kim, a 27-year-old interior designer who currently resides in Long Beach, CA • Laura, a 29-year-old dolphin trainer who currently resides in San Diego, CA • Lisa, a 25-year-old marketing manager who currently resides in Portland, OR • Meri, a 27-year-old attorney who currently resides in Biloxi, MS • Renee, a 30-year-old broadcast marketer who currently resides in Baltimore, MD • Rita, a 29-year-old policy advisor who currently resides in Richmond, VA • Rosella, a 27-year-old make-up artist who currently resides in Chicago, IL • Sadie, a 23-year-old publicist who currently resides in Carlsbad, CA • Sarah, a 30-year-old journalist who currently resides in Nelson, British Columbia • Tara, a 24-year-old realtor who currently resides in St. Augustine, FL The Bachelor: Rome will premiere on Monday, October 2 at 9PM ET/PT. |
