90 Day Fiance star Asuelu Pulaa has raised eyebrows with cryptic social-media posts he's "single" and trying to remain "strong and positive" during a "hard" time, alluding to a possible breakup with wife Kalani Faagata.

Asuelu posted a TikTok video of himself dancing shirtless in a driveway via Instagram on Monday, June 13 and captioned the post, "Even though is hard but I try my best to stay strong and positive. Let's do this together. #behumble #beloved #growup #movedforward."

And one day earlier, Asuelu playfully mouthed the lyrics to a song about being "single."

"When people know that I'm single," Asuelu wrote on the TikTok video of himself faking a cough or gagging sensation while taking out the trash.

Asuelu added a crying-laughing emoticon on the video and wrote alongside it, "Sometimes your dreams never come true. #mybooholeishurts."

Around that same time, Asuelu also posted a throwback video of himself dancing with Kalani and her sister Kolini Faagata, and he wrote the following cryptic caption: "Some people wondering why I'm not on Pillow Talk. Me cuddling my pillow."

Asuelu began to fuel split rumors late last week, when he posted what appeared to be a throwback TikTok video of Kalani and himself dancing together. He hinted the pair may have broken up because they supposedly no longer talk.

"Here she is, people keep asking where is ur wife I said idk. She don't wanna join my live, she doesn't want film TikTok with me. She's different from how she used [to be]," Asuelu claimed.

"She doesn't wanna go out with me, everything she needs I supply for her esp the boys... I have alot to [say] but I can't, I'm under the contract my life is under control... It's hard bcoz I wanna have my own space but she don't, she doesn't want to communicate anymore... hopefully we sell this house very soon so I can go back to work."

Meanwhile, Asuelu hasn't been in Kalani's Instagram photos for months, and Kalani has been posting one sexy photo of herself modeling lingerie after the next on Instagram.

"Back into the swing of things," Kalani recently captioned one of the lingerie pictures.

Kalani first sparked the breakup rumors in May when she suggested there was trouble in paradise.

Kalani conducted a Q&A session with her followers on Instagram Stories, and a fan asked if she and Asuelu were still together.

Kalani replied, "I'll explain at the end of the month," before adding a smiling emoticon and pink hearts.

Kalani quickly deleted her post, but a screenshot of her response circulated online.

It appears Asuelu hasn't posted any current photos with Kalani on Instagram since January 2022, when the couple had celebrated their son Oliver's fourth birthday at Disneyland.

Asuelu, however, still called Kalani his "wife" in a March 7 post about making memories with his children, Oliver and Kennedy.

Kalani from Washington, UT, and Asuelu from Utulaelae, Samoa, met in Summer 2016 in Samoa when Asuelu was working at a resort that Kalani was staying at with her father.

Asuelu thought she was the "most gorgeous girl on the planet," and then the couple had a surprise pregnancy and applied for the K-1 visa. Asuelu's journey moving to the United States was documented on 90 Day Fiance's sixth season.

During a March 2022 episode of 90 Day Diaries, Kalani said, "We had only known each other for a couple of months, so I don't think either of us really knew 100 percent that we wanted to be together or that it would work, but we did end up getting married -- and here we are!"

90 Day Diaries featured Kalani and Asuelu working on their marriage after appearing on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s sixth season.

Kalani and Asuelu had just celebrated their three-year wedding anniversary the previous month.

Kalani said although COVID-19 had been really tough on her relationship with Asuelu, Asuelu managed to change quite a bit and was helping her out more with the boys.

Kalani also applauded Asuelu on communicating better and putting more effort into their marriage. They were preparing to move from Utah to California, where Kalani's mother Lisa had moved beforehand.

"In the future, I would like to do other things and not just be home all the time. Asuelu has the things he likes to do by himself, and I don't have any of those things," Kalani complained.

Kalani looked forward to having friends in California and more babysitters so she and Asuelu could have date nights, but she admitted to her mom that everything was not okay in her marriage.

"I'm so sick of saying everything is good, everything is fine and we're going to end up together -- to just saying, 'Nope, we're going to get a divorce!' I feel like I'm at a breaking point," Kalani lamented to Lisa during her visit to Utah.

"I'm not going to keep begging him to do things. All of this is up to him, so if he ends up [in California] cool, and if he doesn't, well that's up to him at this point."

Asuelu thought their marriage was going "good," but Kalani argued that they weren't doing well and Asuelu only felt good because she had been raising two kids all by herself.

"It makes me feel like I'm a bad husband and I'm a bad father, but no, I'm not," Asuelu argued. "You don't like me to play volleyball, so I play golf. I go early and come back home, so it makes me really upset."

Asuelu said he offered to take Oliver or Kennedy with him places at times but Kalani said "no" and so he couldn't spend time with them alone.

"Because when I watch you watch them, something usually bad happens. So for you to take Oliver in the car by yourself, that's scary to me," Kalani said.

Asuelu accused Kalani of overreacting, but she countered, "How many times have my kids almost died when you're around?!"

Kalani recalled Kennedy getting loose in the parking lot at a pumpkin patch, but Asuelu apparently didn't think that was a big deal.

Suddenly, Asuelu said he was done with the talk, and he walked away from his wife swearing.

"You can't talk about problems, and this is why we fight and this is why it's not going to work," Kalani muttered.
