Ari and Biniyam first appeared on Seasons 2 and 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and have a child together named Avi.

90 Day Fiance features Americans who have fallen in love with foreigners bringing their fiances to the United States on K-1 visas.

However, once the couple is in America together, the American must marry their overseas partner within the 90-day period allowed by the visa or the foreigner has to return to their home country.

"The pressure is on and with travel guidelines more challenging than ever, there's even more at stake with these international love stories," TLC teased of the season.

"Couples aren't just navigating unique lifestyle and cultural changes when arriving in America -- many of them must also adjust to parenthood and nontraditional family lifestyles. And while absence makes the heart grow fonder, personalities and temperaments have changed and not always for the best."

Below is what happened on Episode 17 of 90 Day Fiance's ninth season.

EMILY and KOBE

With all of the Ohio stuff, questioning gender roles and keeping a secret from Emily's parents about her pregnancy, Emily couldn't help but wonder if she and Kobe were on the same page about their relationship and what their future would entail.

The couple therefore got into a big fight before their wedding, and Emily woke up in a hotel not feeling the best. Emily admitted she had overreacted and so she didn't want Kobe to feel any negativity or doubts on their wedding day.

Emily therefore called Kobe and apologized for her behavior the previous night.

"I feel bad that I came at you the way that I did... [My trust issues] are not necessarily towards you, they're more in general, but I realized I jump to conclusions really fast and I need to learn to talk to you and not get upset," Emily explained. "So, I guess, I'm sorry."

Emily insisted she really loved and trusted Kobe, and so she added, "I really cannot wait to marry you."

"What took you so long?" Kobe sweetly and playfully asked.

Kobe said while every relationship has its ups and downs, he loved her, and Emily flashed a big smile on her face.

Kobe acknowledged how Emily's trust issues were growing and getting worse when she was the one who was keeping a secret from her own parents. Kobe found the situation troubling and just hoped his marriage would turn out to be a success.

When Emily got dressed and put on her wedding gown, she started to cry. She was so grateful to have her supportive mother by her side, and Kobe also had two friends, Temperature from Ohio and another pal from Cameroon, to help him get ready.

Emily's father David joined the men as they got dressed, and Kobe said he felt keeping a secret from Emily's parents was disrespectful, especially since he had been living under their roof. Emily wanted to keep the secret until after the wedding, so Kobe felt a heaviness upon him.

David had been hoping Kobe would step up to the plate, take charge, and take care of his family -- mainly financially -- and so he shook Kobe's hand and essentially gave him his support and blessing before the wedding.

David gave him something very personal and heartfelt off-camera, which made Kobe start to cry, especially when Emily's dad added, "I love you like a son."

Kobe broke down and said, "It's not easy," which made Emily's father worry. Kobe believed he had gained David's trust, and so he said, "I can't do this." Kobe didn't want to fail Emily's parents.

"There has been something that I, you know, have been wanting to tell you. It's heavy but I have to say this," Kobe began in tears.

"Down deep in my heart, I really do appreciate everything that you've done, not only for me -- raising my son. I knocked off your daughter back in China and you accepted my heart... I just want to say I'm grateful so much and my whole family [says] thank you."

Kobe obviously got cold feet when it came to telling Emily's dad the truth, but he was thinking about Emily and how she wanted to handle the situation. Kobe didn't want to betray Emily's trust on their wedding day.

Kobe felt like he belonged in the United States and Emily's dad had become his father.

Emily and Kobe then exchanged vows in an emotional moment for Emily, and the pair said, "I do."

The couple kissed in front of the officiant and their guests clapped and cheered, before everyone enjoyed and celebrated at the wedding reception with cake, dancing and laughs.

Emily and Kobe disagreed over when to share their secret. Kobe wanted to tell Emily's parents right away, but Emily planned on pushing back the news a little longer.

"We had agree on after the wedding. Maybe the next day I'm going to tell him," Kobe noted.

Five days after the wedding, Emily and Kobe sat down with Emily's family for dinner, and David joked about how Kobe was "stuck." Kobe and Emily had completed Kobe's paperwork to receive a work permit and green card.

And then Kobe announced how there was something he wanted to tell everyone.

"I want to tell you guys that Emily is pregnant," Kobe declared.

David looked upset, worried and disappointed, but Emily took the blame for having withheld the information. Emily shared how she was 10 weeks along, and David just wished the couple had been more established before welcoming another baby into the world.

"Seeing [my family's] reactions, my fears of disappointing them are kind of coming true," Emily admitted to the cameras.

David had been planning to retire in less than two years, but he said Emily wasn't going to be able to work and Kobe couldn't work yet. Emily felt secure in her parents' house, and so David realized he was going to have to support them for a while.

David, however, asked the couple to think about moving out and figuring out how they could afford two babies. Emily acknowledged she and Kobe had major obstacles ahead, but Kobe didn't think there was anything he and his wife couldn't handle together.

Kobe was also certain he'd be able to provide for his family.

"Oh no!" the couple's son Koban blurted out.

JIBRI and MIONA

On Jibri and Miona's wedding day, the couple and Jibri's beloved grandmother Cheyne were in Joshua Tree, preparing for the wedding.

Jibri wished his mother Mahala was with him, and so he felt a little hurt and confused. He also would've liked to have his best friend David at the wedding.

David and Miona, however, didn't get along, and that's why David didn't show up.

Meanwhile, Miona never imagined getting married in a dessert, but she compromised on the location. Miona said although she wouldn't have an ocean in the background, she at least had sand and a giant flower arch on the way.

Miona imagined an arch behind her and wouldn't settle on that, but the arch -- being delivered by Jibri's friend, who was three hours away -- was running late and Miona and Jibri needed to tie the knot while there was still daylight.

Miona's dress was made by a Russian designer and she absolutely loved it, and she had a photographer capture photos on the couple's big day.

While Jibri and Miona took photos, they were waiting for the arch and a vintage truck in which they could have a photo shoot. Jibri recognized Miona was going to be extremely upset if the arch didn't make it, and so he was very anxious leading up to the ceremony.

"My parents aren't here and it's just very rushed. Hopefully everything is going to be okay," Jibri lamented in a confessional.

Jibri's friend Igor finally arrived from Los Angeles with the van and the arch, and Miona said she liked him a lot because he can speak Serbian and also came to the U.S. as an immigrant when he was a child.

"This arch is going to make or break our ceremony, and we could've made this ourselves!" Jibri joked once the men set it up.

Jibri and Miona then walked down the aisle hand in hand to Jibri's new song about something "feeling right." The couple danced in front of Cheyne, who instructed Jibri and Miona not to kiss until the end of the ceremony.

Jibri sang to his bride as they rocked back and forth arm in arm.

The pair then exchanged self-written vows, with Miona saying the universe had conspired to help her find him. Miona shared how it was meant to be when the pair connected three years prior, and she promised to always make their location feel like home.

"You are one of the kindest souls I've ever met, and I am going to be proud and honored to call you my husband," Miona announced.

In turn, Jibri read Miona a poem and vowed to protect her and respect her. He said he'd travel across continents to be with her and learn multiple languages just so he could say "I love you."

Once Jibri and Miona placed a ring on each other's finger, they kissed as husband and wife. Jibri picked up his bride and swung her around, and Miona concluded, "It will be okay. I believe in us."

Miona said she would go through the past 90 days all over again if it meant ending up with Jibri in this moment, and Cheyne was optimistic the pair would grow old together.

PATRICK and THAIS

Thais' father Carlos told Patrick that he couldn't comprehend why the couple wanted to get married, but Patrick explained how "love is complicated" and Thais added how there is "no right place" to find or be in love.

Carlos didn't like being so far away from the pair, and Patrick wished he had made more of an effort to build a relationship with his future father-in-law. Regardless, Patrick promised to always love, care for and support Thais.

Patrick also said Thais would visit home once a year, and then Carlos determined that, although he had doubts, the decision was up to Thais and he would want the couple to prove him wrong.

Patrick asked for trust, and Carlos replied, "I hope you won't disappoint me."

Patrick told Carlos that they would talk again, in person and eye to eye, and Thais suddenly felt a weight lifted off her shoulders. She thanked Patrick for his respect, patience, politeness and ability to communicate his feelings.

Thais said Carlos would have to respect her decision because she's an adult woman, but Patrick was happy to have addressed their problems head-on and not push them away.

"So, you still want to get married?" Patrick asked.

"Yes," Thais responded.

Patrick said it felt like a little victory because Carlos' reaction was a step in the right direction, even though the couple had yet to receive his full blessing.

Patrick had hired a wedding planner to set up the couple's wedding venue and get everything ready for them, but he was responsible for their first dance and doing the Brazilian dance right. Patrick had been willing to put his ego aside and dance for their guests.

Patrick's brother John still had doubts about Patrick's marriage, and he was worried about the worst potentially happening.

Meanwhile, Thais had her two friends from Dallas, Kayla and Anadia, attend the wedding, and they were all Thais had. Thais was sad to be far from her father, whom she had hoped would walk her down the aisle and approve of her groom, but she continued on with the wedding anyway.

Thais then walked down the aisle. She said despite all the problems she and Patrick faced, she loved him and wanted to be with him for the rest of her life. She called the wedding one of "the most special moments" of her life.

Patrick said he was blown away by Thais' beauty and her appearance made him remember the first time he ever saw her in Brazil.

"I think I knew at that point my entire life was about to change. I went from being divorced and not knowing if I was going to find someone again, and for it to come true, that's really emotional," Patrick said in a confessional.

Carlos even watched the wedding via Zoom and saw his daughter exchange vows with Patrick and kiss him at the altar with love. Patrick said he felt like the luckiest guy ever, and Thais told the cameras that she looked forward to John moving out.

BILAL and SHAEEDA

Bilal and Shaeeda's wedding day had finally arrived after a rough 90 days filled with trial and error. Bilal wasn't sure how Shaeeda was feeling, but he hoped she felt ready to walk down the aisle.

Nefertari turned the house into a beautiful wedding venue, and Bilal was feeling happy and enthusiastic.

Shaeeda said Bilal changed their prenup agreement to include things Shaeeda had asked for, and so it was signed. Shaeeda said she wanted her relationship to have more love and less bickering, but she still had lingering concerns about the prenup.

Given Shaeeda had left her life behind in Trinidad and Tobago, she felt immense pressure to make this relationship work.

Shaeeda got very emotional before the ceremony, especially when she FaceTimed with loved ones back at home. She felt overwhelmed to be in the United States with the man she loved, and she said this was a moment she had been waiting for her entire life.

Bilal's daughter sang a beautiful song when Shaeeda walked down the aisle, and he told his bride, "You look beautiful." Bilal said he would cherish and remember the way Shaeeda looked for the rest of his life.

Bilal and Shaeeda said "I do" and exchanged their vows, and Shaeeda gushed about how she never settled in life and seemed to have made "the right decision with the right person."

Shaeeda told the cameras how Bilal was the man she had been waiting for her entire life.

Shaeeda and Bilal kissed to make their marriage official, and Bilal's family and friends appeared overjoyed.

Bilal's children said Shaeeda would be a wonderful addition to their family, but Bilal's daughter insisted her brother had fallen asleep during the ceremony.

Bilal then gifted Shaeeda a gold necklace, something his father had given his mother, that reads, "I will never give up on you, and you will never give up on me."

Shaeeda was optimistic Bilal would want to have a child with her sooner rather than later.
