90 Day Fiance couple Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra have revealed they separated because Vanessa couldn't handle Debbie Johnson's constant presence and interference in their romance.

Colt, 36, and Vanessa, 31 -- who co-starred on Season 1 of 90 Day: The Single Life on discovery+ last year -- appeared on the just-released Tell-All special for the spinoff's second season, which included Debbie, Colt's mother, as a cast member and followed her as she received a makeover and dipped her toes back in the dating pool for the first time in decades.

"I'm upset that you just can't do anything by yourself. I'm the first person, the first call, the first everything with you," Colt told Debbie, 69, during the episode.

"Not anymore... I haven't even talked to you for a week," Debbie argued.

"I got 10 texts as soon as I landed on my airplane last night," Colt insisted.

Vanessa said Colt is "always" Debbie's "go-to" person, and Colt said Debbie's constant demands were "crazy."

Although Debbie asked Colt to stop, he continued, "This is very important to me. You've raised me to be just a subservient person to you... I need to know why you're this way. My wife was pregnant. I didn't want to tell you at the time."

Colt added, "I shouldn't be bothered with your life. This is your life. It's not my responsibility."

Debbie said she was moving out -- and in with her friend Audrey -- and so it was a moot point.

"I don't care [what's next for me] as long as you're not influencing me so much. You're always there, there, there!" Colt complained, adding, "I am 36 years old. Stop treating me like I'm a kid."

Debbie, feeling embarrassed and "hated," refused to fight with her son on-camera, and so she walked off the set and left Colt and Vanessa with the show's host Shaun Robinson.

"I moved out," Vanessa revealed, while Colt added: "We're separated."

Colt lamented about how he was Debbie's "anchor" in life, and then Vanessa revealed how she took Colt's side in the manner because Debbie was "very dependent" on her son.

When asked how Debbie had affected their relationship, Vanessa disclosed, "I moved out."

"We're separated," Colt added.

"I am tired of being under [Debbie's] roof," Vanessa admitted.

Colt and Vanessa moved in together after they eloped and got married, but Colt said they had been living apart for three weeks by the time the Tell-All filmed.

"It's nonstop," Vanessa vented of Debbie's interference. "The door is closed on our room and [we hear], 'Hey, Colt. Hey, Colt.' It's nonstop!"

Vanessa said her breaking point was when she had suffered a miscarriage, which the pair publicly announced in October 2021.

"We told Debbie about it and she was very -- I mean, I know that she didn't know at all that I was pregnant. We kept it from her," Vanessa explained. "So her reaction was, 'I'm sorry.' She gave me a hug."

Colt interjected that Debbie "has some feelings or emotions" but couldn't express them to him -- and he didn't understand why.

Vanessa broke down into tears about her miscarriage and Colt hugged her onstage.

"I could block my mother but she will still find a f-cking way to contact me!" Colt shouted. "She will not leave... I could end up in a third-world country and she'll [show up and say], 'Hey, where am I staying?!'... My entire life has been [supporting her]!"

Debbie let producers know backstage that she was paying "all of the f-cking bills" because neither Colt or Vanessa allegedly had a job.

Debbie later returned to the stage and asked Colt and Vanessa to leave. When the pair stayed in their seats, Debbie yelled at her son for treating her like "sh-t" and he apologized for embarrassing her.

Shaun then circled back to the subject of Vanessa's miscarriage and how Debbie affected Vanessa's mindset at the time.

"I was just very stressed about you know, well, one, are we gonna raise [a child] here in this house? It was just a lot of stress... so I kind of felt guilty, like maybe I did something wrong," Vanessa explained.

"And then I took it out on [Colt] a lot," Vanessa said. "It was just a lot."

Debbie said that she felt "heartbroken" for the couple and it hurt her feelings when Colt and Vanessa had tried to keep the pregnancy a secret at first.

Debbie also told Colt that he could have moved out of her house any time he wanted, but Colt said she would "freak out" in that case.

"Do you know how many times I've been there to support you?" Debbie asked Colt. "I don't even want you in my life anymore. You make it miserable; you make me miserable."

Debbie reiterated how she was planning to move out but needed a little money, a couple thousand dollars, before she could make that happen.

"I am trying to get away from you!" Debbie said.

When Vanessa was asked if she'd like to move back in with Colt, she replied, "[I] didn't sign up for a part-time husband."

But Vanessa confirmed she'd live with Colt again as long as Debbie is not in the house.

Vanessa also accused Debbie of not being able to talk calmly and rationally in the face of conflict, which Debbie denied.

Vanessa told Debbie that she guilt-tripped her son all the time and that she felt "smothered" by Debbie.

"Because you're constantly in Colt's face. If I need him, you're in his face -- texting or at the door... You just don't want to let him go and you're always mad at him for something," Vanessa complained.

"From this point on, I will not be his mother or her friend -- nothing. We are done," Debbie griped, adding that Vanessa had "f-cked [Colt] up."

During 90 Day: The Single Life's Season 1 Tell-All in May 2021, Colt shocked viewers by saying he and Vanessa secretly wed.

"I love Vanessa so much I married Vanessa and didn't tell anybody in this f-cking room," Colt said at the time.

Colt and Vanessa tied the knot while enjoying a road trip through Reno, NV, about a month before the Tell-All taping, In Touch Weekly reported.

"I wanted something just for Vanessa and I," he explained of keeping Debbie out of the loop about his marriage. "It was very important that I showed Vanessa that it was just for her and I."

Colt and Vanessa were also shown getting engaged on a dock at Big Bear Lake in Southern California during Season 1 of The Single Life in early May 2021 despite Vanessa's trust issues and the couple's struggle with Colt's high sex drive and relationship expectations.

Colt previously told Us Weekly how he and Vanessa actually got engaged on November 1, 2020 after only a month of dating. (Colt was spotted filming proposing marriage, however, on November 26, 2020).

Colt filed for divorce from his first wife, Larissa Dos Santos Lima -- with whom he starred on Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance and Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? -- in January 2019 after an explosive fight in his Las Vegas home.

Colt finalized his divorce from Larissa in April 2019, and Vanessa's divorce from her ex-husband, True Maudsley, became official in November 2020.

Once his divorce was finalized, Colt struck up a romance with Jessica Caroline and the pair starred on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

"After my divorce from Larissa, I wanted to date Vanessa immediately. I was like, 'Hey, want to try it?' And she wasn't interested," Colt explained on the Tell-All special of Happily Ever After?'s fifth season.

Vanessa then shared, "He did ask me to be his girlfriend, and I said, 'No,' and then I kind of started dating somebody else and he got upset."

Vanessa reportedly said at the time Colt was not her type and she likes "bearded tattooed men." She supposedly couldn't see past Colt's looks.

Colt admitted on the show he had sex with Vanessa and cheated on Jess, who never trusted Vanessa during her short-lived romance with Colt that ended in October 2019.

Jess therefore asked Colt why he started dating her when he was clearly wrapped up in Vanessa, and Colt replied, "Because Vanessa said, 'No.' If she said, 'Yes,' I would've dated her in a second. I'm sorry that you were in a sh-tty relationship with me. It was a summer fling."

Vanessa said on the Tell-All she liked Colt only "as a best friend" because she "wouldn't trust him as a boyfriend." Colt, however, insisted he had never cheated on Larissa.

Although Colt and Vanessa insisted they were just friends for months, the pair were photographed walking hand-in-hand down a Las Vegas street in September 2020. Colt also grew a beard, probably to Vanessa's liking!

Jess went on to wed a man named Brian Hanvey, and Larissa is currently roommates with her ex-boyfriend Eric Nichols in Las Vegas.

"We still good friends and doing our independent things," Larissa wrote on Instagram in December, according to In Touch. "Now, the pleasures for have him as roommate.  Isn't easy because I'm crazy for cleaning and Ericee is like a wild cat he does his own thing."
