'19 Kids and Counting's the Duggar family welcomes a grandson

By Elizabeth Kwiatkowski, 06/17/2011

Josh Duggar and his wife Anna have welcomed a new baby boy into their already very large family.

Josh -- who is the eldest child of 19 Kids and Counting stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar at 23-years-old -- is now a proud parent of two after Anna gave birth at 5:55PM Wednesday to a son who weighed-in at 8 pounds and five ounces, People reported Thursday.

The baby reportedly arrived four days earlier than the couple had expected in the family's home in Tontitown, AR, which is the same location where Josh and Anna's first child, 20-month-old MacKynzie, was born in October 2009.

The couple has yet to release the name of MacKynzie's new little brother, but they intend to call him something that begins with an "M" -- following in the footsteps of Josh's parents who had given all 19 of their children "J" names, according to People.

Josie -- Michelle's nineteenth child who was born 17 months ago prematurely -- apparently put the important things in life into perspective for Josh and Anna before their son's birth.

"I think of Josie being born at only 25 weeks and it makes us think about how precious life is and what a blessing each child is," Josh told People.

TLC will air 19 Kids: First Grandson, a special chronicling the birth of Jim and Michelle's second grandchild, on Sunday at 8PM ET/PT.
