Vanchieri quietly resigned on September 9th, but it was made public only this month because the Broward School Board in Florida will formally accept his request on October 15th. Vanchieri was put on desk duty after MSNBC published a story on its Web site in December that Vanchieri was in the porn video "Solo Guys: Volume 1" (a story that we also reported on when it occurred.)
