The Real Housewives franchise is expanding into two new cities and Bravo has revealed the premiere date for one of them.

Bravo has announced it's launching The Real Housewives of Potomac and The Real Housewives of Dallas.

The Potomac spinoff will premiere Sunday, January 17 at 9PM ET/PT, while the Dallas show is slated to debut later next year.

"The Real Housewives has become a global phenomenon that drives cultural conversation while consistently breaking ratings records," Bravo executive Shari Levine said in a statement.

"We're happy to extend the franchise with Potomac and Dallas giving Bravo fans more of what they desire: stories of dynamic women who make us laugh, cry, cheer and experience unforgettable moments we can't stop talking about."

The network calls Potomac "one of the most affluent towns in America" and "Maryland's fabulous best-kept secret."

Potomac boasts rolling hills, gated mansions, sophisticated prep schools, and exclusive country clubs that keep the location invitation-only. A handful of old-line, wealthy African-American families also live in the area, and they've historically broken racial barriers to provide the best life possible for their children.

The Real Housewives of Potomac will follow the upscale lives of Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby, all of whom mesh into society by way of marriage or legacy.

"The Real Housewives of Potomac is the show you never saw coming, and it's going to take everyone by surprise!" franchise executive producer Andy Cohen said in the statement, referencing how reports of a Dallas edition circulated recently but there's been no talk of a Potomac destination.

The Real Housewives of Dallas will chronicle a group of sophisticated southern socialites and ladder climbers. The series will offer viewers an inside look at glamorous galas, scandals, and very big egos -- likely proving that everything IS bigger in Texas.

"The Real Housewives of Dallas, it's a natural extension of the franchise with a Southern twist that 'ya'll' will enjoy," added Cohen.

Potomac is being produced by True Entertainment with Cohen, Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Lorraine Haughton-Lawson, Bianca Barnes-Williams and Ashley McFarlin Buie serving as executive producers.
