The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub has confirmed that she's featured in a soon-to-be-released sex tape but is denying she's the one who released it.

"There is one. It's being released," she told TMZ in a Wednesday report. "From the information I was told, it was stolen."

Staub's comments follow The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Jacqueline Laurita's recent claim that "a very reliable source" had told her that Staub was behind the sex tape's release.

Hustler, Inc. plans to release the 75-minute sex tape -- which was reportedly filmed in September and features Staub and an unidentified man -- on June 24.

The 47-year-old mother claims she did -- as she managed to do with an earlier video which surfaced last summer -- try to block the tape's release "in the beginning," but eventually gave up.

"I just decided, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em," she told TMZ.

"So what am I left to do? It isn't something I would have chose to have released, but it's out there, and there's nothing I can do about it."

Staub declined to reveal the identity of her co-star and added she feels he was not involved in the tape's release.

"To the best of my knowledge, he had nothing to do with it," she told TMZ.

Staub was also asked about how her sex tape compares to that of Kendra star Kendra Wilkinson -- which was recently released by Vivid Entertainment.

"I haven't seen hers. I haven't seen mine, either, but I do know I was in it," she told TMZ. "So if it's going to do anything, I would hope mine would do better."

In addition, Staub said her The Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars can say whatever they want about the tape's upcoming release.

"I don't care what they say about me!" she told TMZ.
