The Golden Bachelor host Jesse Palmer has revealed how he feels about ABC potentially rolling out The Golden Bachelorette season in the future.

When asked if he'd be interested in hosting a Golden Bachelorette show, Jesse, 45, told E! News, "Absolutely. I really hope that's the case."

ABC has yet to announce whether The Golden Bachelor spinoff starring a senior lady will actually come to fruition, and Jesse pointed out how show executives need to make that decision.

"I can't speak on behalf of executives or anybody else, obviously," the sportscaster and former The Bachelor star said.

"I'm sure everyone's waiting to see how this one goes first. But I know there are thousands of women across America deserving of that."

The Golden Bachelor starring Gerry Turner is only a few weeks in, but the show is attracting millions of viewers, more than recent past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

The Golden Bachelor's premiere reached over 11 million total viewers across linear and streaming platforms after seven days of viewing, according to Variety.

Gerry's heartwarming journey to find love has reportedly achieved the largest multi-platform audience for The Bachelor franchise since Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams' 2020 The Bachelorette season.

The Golden Bachelor has featured women in their sixties and seventies defying the odds, surpassing expectations, breaking stereotypes, and delivering some of the funniest one-liners viewers have ever seen.

On the show's September 28 premiere, Susan Knowles, rocking a sparkly lavender dress with feathers, joked, "Gerry, you see these heels? I am very comfortable with six inches."

Faith Martin -- who received Gerry's First Impression Rose -- told the cameras, "We may not be as tight skinned or in as good of shape, but honey, we're not dead yet!"

And Theresa Nist seductively opened her black robe during her limo entrance to show Gerry her "birthday suit," which ended up being a nude-colored bodysuit.

"There's some incredible stories that I think are really going to resonate with people at home once you start peeling back the layers," Jesse shared.

"As the show goes on, you learn more about these women, what they've been through. I think there's going to be a swell in support of there being a Golden Bachelorette. That's my personal opinion."

The Golden Bachelor host said that every time a senior bachelorette would talk about their past relationships or experiences about love, he found himself "on the edge of my seat" listening to what they had to say since they imparted "a lot of wisdom."

Jesse pointed out to E! News that if The Golden Bachelorette ends up filming and airing, "Then we have to have a Golden Paradise -- in Naples, FL. It would be perfect. You can already see the group dates."

The Golden Bachelor producers shared with Entertainment Weekly late last month that a "golden" lady leading of the show is a real "possibility."

The Golden Bachelor executive producer Claire Freeland gushed, "It's been really inspiring to be part of this show for me."

"To be able to celebrate women of this age, and their stories, their life experiences, on the platform of mainstream media is very special," she continued.

Fellow executive producer Bennett Graebner admitted that he never realized "how much women in their 60s and 70s feel like they're not seen as viable romantic, sexual beings."

Bennett added, "And for the first time, we've heard it so many times from these women, they feel seen."

Gerry, for his part, said he'd totally be onboard with the franchise highlighting a senior lady as its star.

Gerry even mentioned how he'd "love to be involved" with the spinoff somehow, perhaps by being the Golden Bachelorette's confidante.

"I think the advice I would give a Bachelorette is to be patient and surrender to the process," Gerry shared.

"Don't fight it. Allow it to take you on its path and stay open-minded to what could happen, because you never know what's around the next corner."

If ABC does decide to greenlight The Golden Bachelorette, fans can expect to see the star dressed to the nines.

"I am so excited at the idea of styling a Golden Bachelorette!" the franchise's longtime wardrobe stylist Cary Fetman told EW.

"My perception of dressing a 70-year-old woman is completely different than it was three months ago. There is truly an inner beauty that comes out with maturity of reaching a certain age that gives a confidence many 20-year-olds do not have."

Gerry has recently hinted that he found love on the show, and so it's more than likely viewers will want to see the same happen for one of his bachelorettes -- or for a golden newcomer.

"This is a great day, isn't it?" Gerry told EW, suggesting he may be in a happy relationship.

"I'm so pleasantly surprised by how things ended, there's absolutely no regrets."

In the meantime, The Golden Bachelor will continue to air on Thursday nights at 8PM ET/PT, immediately followed by Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season at 9PM ET/PT on ABC.

And Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor, Season 28, is expected to premiere in January 2024.
