During The Bachelorette's live Season 20 finale, host Jesse Palmer surprised Charity and her new fiance, Dotun Olubeko, with a romantic "pre-honeymoon" trip to Greece.

"But that's not all! There's also another surprise in store for you," Jesse teased. "And Dotun, I think there might be something you wanted to tell your brand new fiancee."

Dotun, who had clearly been told the big news beforehand, then looked at Charity and said, "I might know a thing or two! Alright baby, so I know you like to cut up, you like to dance, and you like to get down. And you know that we've talked about this -- about how amazing this opportunity would be."

Charity interjected, "No! Oh my god."

Dotun then proudly declared, "I'm so happy to be the one to tell you that you're going to be on Dancing with the Stars! Baby, let's go! Yes, baby!"

Charity seemed shocked and ecstatic, and she joked about how she actually looked like a giant mirrorball trophy that night in her sparkly dress.

"You're going to be a very busy woman!" Jesse noted. "You're going to need that trip to Greece. Charity, you are going to do absolutely incredible. The future could not be brighter for the two of you."

Charity will be following in the footsteps of many The Bachelor and The Bachelorette alums before her who have competed on Dancing with the Stars -- including Gabby Windey, who placed second on Dancing with the Stars' 31st season last year.

Kaitlyn Bristowe also memorably won Dancing with the Stars' 29th season, right after Hannah Brown was crowned champion of the reality dancing competition's 28th season.

An exact premiere date for Dancing with the Stars has yet to be confirmed, and the entire cast of Dancing with the Stars -- its celebrities and their pro partners -- will be announced on the Wednesday, September 13 episode of Good Morning America.

Only one other celebrity contestant was announced before Charity: Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, who made headlines this past March when her boyfriend of nearly a decade, Tom Sandoval, cheated on her with their Bravo co-star and her former best friend, Raquel Leviss.

In July, GMA aired footage of Ariana spending time with Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough inside of the Vanderpump Rules star's sandwich shop, Something About Her.

And the show additionally wrote in a tweet, "There's just something about her! #PumpRules star Ariana Madix is heading to @officialdwts this fall and we can't wait to see her moves on the dance floor! #DWTS."

The tweet included a video of Derek, a six-time Dancing with the Stars mirrorball trophy champion, teasing, "This season on Dancing with the Stars, we are going absolutely mad -- mad for Madix."

Ariana, 38, then stepped into the frame and confirmed, "That's right!... I will be joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars this season."

"That's right!" Derek, also 38, said. "Say goodbye to the drama and hello to the dance floor."

The two wrapped up the clip by looking at each other and saying, "Let's dance!"

The new Dancing with the Stars season will feature Alfonso Ribeiro as host and Julianne Hough returning to the ballroom as co-host.

"It is such an honor to be rejoining Dancing with the Stars as co-host," Julianne wrote on social media in March.

The former Dancing with the Stars judge and two-time mirrorball trophy champion continued, "The show holds such a special place in my heart from the many years and different roles I have had the privilege of being a part of... The incredible team that brings the ballroom to life every night has been my family for the past 17 years."

Julianne added, "The energy is magnetic every time you step foot in to the ballroom and I can't wait to feel it again -- and of course to share it all with the absolute best and most loyal fans -- for another exciting season."

Tyra Banks, who joined Dancing with the Stars in Season 29 to replace Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, will not be returning in an on-screen role.

Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, however, will be reprising their judging roles, joining Derek on the panel of experts.

The show's fourth judge, Len Goodman, announced his retirement at the end of the show's 31st season late last year, and then he unexpectedly passed away in April 2023.
