The Bachelorette bachelor Luke Parker has issued a statement about the explosive conversation that went down with Hannah Brown over their religious views on premarital sex during Monday night's Fantasy-Suite episode.

"It hurt my heart that @alabamahannah felt I was shaming her," Luke captioned a photo of the former couple Monday night on Instagram.

"In our conversation my heart was never to judge or condemn Hannah. I was simply making a decision for myself on what I expected in our relationship, our conversations and our beliefs led me to believe we were on the same page about sex. For me it was never about getting a rose, it was always about finding a wife who would choose me everyday just as I would choose her everyday."

Hannah dumped Luke before the overnight portion of their Fantasy Suite date in Crete, Greece because she felt Luke was judging and shaming her over the idea she might have had sex with one or more of her Final 4 bachelors.

"As for my time on the show I made mistakes and no I'm not perfect (crazy right) I didn't totally behave as the man I want to be and I did not represent Christ the way I thought I was prepared to and that has broken me," Luke continued on Instagram.

"This journey has taught me so much and for that I am grateful but the greatest gift I have received is a compassion for those who love the world and it's ways. My desire is to put the Father first above all things and share the truth that he has given to us all."

The Gainesville, GA, resident concluded, "Thank you everyone for the prayers always remember speak truth and rid yourself of all hate, let compassion drive your words. Stay tuned. #faithfuloverfamous."

Luke posted his statement on Instagram shortly after getting into a heated fight with Hannah on Twitter. Luke basically criticized Hannah for joking about her sexual encounters with Peter Weber and Jed Wyatt in their Fantasy Suites.

Luke directly broached the topic of sex during his dinner date with Hannah in Crete.

"Sex is an incredible thing and it's a beautiful thing -- only when it's within the guidelines of marriage... Marriage should be honored and the marriage bed should be kept pure," Luke told Hannah.

Luke noted neither one of them was a virgin but he had been abstaining from sex for the past three or four years.

"I just want to make sure you're not going to be sexually intimate in your other relationships here. I totally have all the trust in the world for you, but at the same time, I want to know we're on the same page," Luke told Hannah.

"If you told me you're having sex or you had sex with one or multiple of these guys, I would be wanting to go home -- 100 percent."

Hannah expressed she was "mad" because Luke didn't have the right to question or judge her, given he's not her husband. She accused him of being too proud, which is also a sin.

Luke then attempted to retract some of his statements by saying if Hannah did in fact have sex on the show with multiple guys -- which would be "a crazy scenario" or "a slipup," according to Luke -- he'd be willing work through it with her.

Hannah didn't appreciate how Luke said "willing" since she's "a grown woman" who can make her own decisions.

"To make me feel like you would look at me differently and judge me and make me feel like you would not think of me as a woman of faith like I am... you're holding people to a standard you don't even live by," Hannah said.

Hannah later vented in a confessional, "You don't own me. You don't get to decide what I can and can't do."

Luke appeared upset and dumbfounded, and he repeated that even if Hannah "slipped up" and had sex with one or more of the other men, it wouldn't change what he wanted with her in the future.

But Hannah still felt judged and wanted to find a man who would love her unconditionally and admire everything about her -- flaws and all.

Hannah then told Luke that he was not going to be her husband and he needed to leave. Luke thought Hannah "owed" it to him to allow him to speak, but that just made her more furious.

"I don't owe you anything!" Hannah yelled in Monday night's episode. "I have bent over backwards for this relationship."

Before Luke departed, Hannah confirmed she did have sex in the Fantasy Suite.

"I have had sex. Yeah. And Jesus still loves me. From obviously how you feel, me f-cking in a windmill, you probably want to leave," Hannah told Luke.

The Bachelorette went on to tell the cameras, "I didn't just go to the Fantasy Suite. I f-cked in a windmill. And guess what?! We did it a second time."

Luke asked Hannah if they could pray together before he left, but she said, "No" and flipped him the middle finger on his way out.

"You're not going to tell me what I should or shouldn't do, and that was the language he was using," Hannah said in a subsequent confessional.

"I answer to the Lord; I don't answer to Luke. I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders that I finally figured it out for myself. I'm just relieved I never have to deal with him again."

Hannah's decision to dump Luke left Jed, Peter and Tyler Cameron in the running for her heart on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season.
