The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher publicly defends and protects fiance Jordan Rodgers, but behind closed doors, it's reportedly a different story.

After Rodgers landed a new job in sports broadcasting for the SEC Network as a football studio analyst, according to an insider, Fletcher "told friends that she thinks he's a 'fame-seeking jerk,'" Life & Style reported.

Rodgers has been fighting rumors for months he signed up to do The Bachelorette as a way to become famous and further his career.

"Jordan wanted fame and press from the get-go," a source told the magazine. "Literally, the night before leaving, he said he was going on the show as a PR move."

Rodgers' ex-girlfriend, Brittany Farrar, also blasted him on social media for allegedly lying to America about the way their relationship had ended.

The former pro quarterback claimed on the show he had focused too much on football instead of love, while Farrar said "riding the bench" doesn't end a romance -- but cheating does.

Life & Style sources claim Fletcher and Rodgers have called it quits on their relationship after weeks of fighting, however, they've chosen to keep up appearances as a "business deal."

Fletcher reportedly sees the financial benefit of pretending to be together, but she's also going along with the sham "partly because she's not ready to be publicly embarrassed," the insider added.

"But she knows that she and Jordan do not have a future together."

While The Bachelorette was airing, Fletcher and Rodgers admittedly endured some rocky times because of the tabloids and rumors. However, the couple insists they are happily in love and planning a life together in Fletcher's hometown of Dallas, TX.
