The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison has weighed-in on Chad Johnson's controversial appearance on The Men Tell All.

"Chad is unapologetically Chad," Harrison wrote in his Yahoo! TV blog.

Johnson, a luxury real estate agent from Tulsa, OK, is a complete wild card. Bachelor Nation hates to love him, and even JoJo Fletcher's other suitors -- who despised Johnson all season long -- can't help but laugh at some of his comments when they're clearly trying not to give him the satisfaction.

However, Johnson made verbal and physical threats while filming The Bachelorette.

"I don't endorse or condone Chad's actions, but I do respect the fact that he takes full ownership for how people feel about him, whether it's good or bad," Harrison explained.

"Part of me wishes he could see other people's feelings as a higher priority, and obviously I think he should cool it with the threats, but it's so easy to blame the situation for who you are."

And Johnson does, in fact, embrace the villain role and all of the attention it brings.

"Chad owns who he is," Harrison noted. "It may not be a very good guy, but that's really a choice he is free to make."

Johnson got Fletcher's blood boiling on The Men Tell All special when he wished her the best of luck in her relationship -- either with an alleged girlfriend-dumping guy like Robby Hayes or a cheating and lying man like Rodgers. Fletcher said Johnson's accusations weren't even worth a response or a waste of her breath.

"Not everyone has to be liked, and Chad has proven that being disliked is something he is very, very good at," Harrison wrote.
