"It's a lot," Grant, 31, said of Fantasy Suite Week during the Thursday, March 6 episode of "The Viall Files" podcast hosted by former The Bachelor star Nick Viall.

"Fantasy Suites is really tricky, but I think I handled myself very well."

Grant acknowledged "there were a lot of kisses" during Fantasy Suites but he conducted himself like a gentleman.

"But I do feel like in Fantasy Suites, I really reserved myself," Grant teased. "Because when you get physical intimacy involved, it changes things."

Grant suggested that sex can complicate a relationship and he wanted a clear head going into his final days as The Bachelor star.

"Your connection with somebody, there could be some red flags there and then you guys have sex and everything is wonderful," Grant noted.

"So I tried to handle myself really well, and I tried to be responsible."

Grant, however, said that he didn't make any rules for himself going into Fantasy Suites.

"My expectation was [that] I wasn't going in there saying, 'I'm not going to,' but it had to be -- I had to know that this person was my person in order for me to engage," Grant explained.

"And at that point, I didn't know who was my person."

Nick's wife and co-host Natalie Joy speculated that Grant's prior response meant that he "didn't f-ck" any of his Final 3 bachelorettes, but Grant played coy.

"I didn't say that directly," Grant quipped. "I didn't say I didn't do other things, but I handled myself well, you know?"

Grant also admitted he was battling "the pressure and the stereotype" of being the second Black Bachelor in 29 seasons. (Matt James was the first Black man to lead The Bachelor on Season 25.)

"People are going to think I'm a player or this or that -- or that I'm just trying to get my rocks off," Grant said.

"And I wasn't. I went in there with real intentions, and prior to that, I had been celibate for a year."

The daytrader and former pro basketball player elaborated, "I got out of a seven-year relationship and I was hurting, so, like, sex is great but I wanted to make sure it was with somebody who was my person and then we could f-ck all the time!"

Grant apparently had a tough decision to make between his Final 3 bachelorettes -- "TiTi," Zoe and "Jules" -- and he was also careful about saying, "I love you," to more than one person.

And previews have shown him agonizing over his Final 2 bachelorettes before the Final Rose Ceremony in the Dominican Republic.

In a preview of what's to come, Grant reveals he's in love with "multiple women."

"I never thought it would be possible," Grant admits, appearing conflicted and surprised.

Litia then says her "biggest fear" is Grant "being intimate" with someone else in the Fantasy Suites.

And Grant asks Litia, who is a member of the Mormon church: "Do you think that's something that could break us?"

Grant proceeds to say, "I genuinely don't know what I'm going to do, and that's scary because an engagement is next week. Stay tuned for my demise."

Grant previously told Parade that he didn't make any rash decisions when in the Fantasy Suites.

"I approached them very carefully," Grant shared in January.

"I think any time physical intimacy is involved, it can enhance feelings, so I really tried to wait because I didn't want to make a decision off of that and be confused."

Grant reiterated how he "really tried" to approach those special off-camera dates "carefully" and with consideration.

"And I think I did that," Grant confirmed, adding how he prioritized communication and honesty in his relationships.

During a separate interview with Access Hollywood, Grant explained how a Bachelor navigates the Fantasy Suite round is "really delicate."

Grant noted, "It can get dicey," likely referring to the aftermath many Bachelors before him had to face after sleeping with more than one woman in the Fantasy Suites.
