The Bachelor bachelorette Kelsey Poe, whom star Chris Soules eliminated during a two-on-one date, apparently has big plans for herself.

Although Poe is under contract and therefore cannot conduct direct interviews with the media, she appeared at a viewing party in her current city of Hudsonville, MI, Monday night and shared some personal details with the crowd that have leaked out.

Despite calling her stint on the show "a rough ride," Poe, a 28-year-old guidance counselor originally from Austin, TX, also called it a "blessing in disguise," according to Michigan's MLive.com website.

Poe revealed she has resigned from her position as a school counselor in order to pursue writing, which she calls an "adventure."

"I'm blessed with the ability to express myself and use my words," Poe reportedly told the crowd. "I noticed my blog was starting to have an impact. But if you're going to be a writer, you might as well be a writer in Paris."

Ironically, Poe was criticized by her fellow bachelorettes on the show for always using big words in conversation. However, they didn't see it as a positive trait. The women believed Poe was fake, condescending and arrogant.

Poe didn't hesitate to take a shot at one of the girls in return. Ashley Iaconetti, who loved getting dolled up and often referred to herself as a "princess," faced off against Poe on the two-on-one date and ratted her out to Soules for being disliked and disingenuous.

"It can't all be roses, dress up, hair weaves and fake lashes," Poe said, getting a laugh from the audience.

Poe left for France on Tuesday with the intention of staying for two weeks, MLive.com reported.

She plans to return for the birth of her nephew but then fly back to Paris this summer and allegedly live there for "as long as the French will allow me to be there."

Poe explained that her next journey is all "about taking risk and following your heart in love and in your career."
