Teddi is a 25-year-old surgical unit nurse from Highland, CA.

When Teddi introduced herself on The Bachelor Season 26 premiere, she explained to viewers how she wants to be in love when she has sex for the first time.

Teddi also warned her family members that if Clayton ended up inviting her into an overnight Fantasy-Suite date, she would take advantage of that intimate off-screen time.

Not only did Teddi receive the first rose of Clayton's season on Night 1, but she also snagged the first kiss. Clayton said that meeting Teddi stopped him in his tracks and left him speechless.

"Teddi, you make me feel some type of way!" Clayton gushed, adding that he felt a "spark" right away with her.

"It's wild," Clayton confirmed of the pair's connection. "Kissing Teddi, I feel complete... It just feels right."

Teddi, however, hasn't received much screentime since the first couple of episodes, mainly due to all the drama this season around Shanae Ankney.

Teddi has needed some reassurance from Clayton along the way, but it's likely she will receive even more validation from The Bachelor star soon enough on a one-on-one date.

Until viewers can watch Teddi and Clayton's connection grow and deepen, let's learn some information about this unique bachelorette right now.

Below is a list of five facts Reality TV World has compiled about Teddi Wright.

"Clearly there is that early chemistry there, so I think people will see that as the show goes on," Clayton teased.

"There is this strong connection. It started Night 1, and that's why I felt very comfortable and confident, yeah, giving her that night one First Impression Rose."

Teddi explains her abstinence and why she's "different" from other virgins

Teddi explained why she's waiting to have sex and how long she plans to wait during a recent appearance on the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast co-hosted by Joe Amabile, Tia Booth and Natasha Parker.

For starters, Teddi insisted she had no reservations or fear about sharing she's a virgin right away on The Bachelor's 26th season.

"I'm very open about that, so I had no issues about saying that," Teddi said. "And I say that really early on with guys I've dated in the past. I tell everyone that I know [that I'm a virgin]."

Teddi noted how she's "not a very stereotypical virgin" and no one "really expects" her to be when they meet her.

"I'm not waiting until marriage, so that's why it's a little bit different than other people that are virgins," Teddi said.

"When I was in college, I thought I was maybe going to wait until marriage. I grew up in a very Christian household and I'm still Christian. The college that I went to is Christian."

However, some major self-reflection and being honest with herself led Teddi to an epiphany.

"I think after I graduated, I kind of was looking back at all of my values and beliefs, and that was the one I always went back to," Teddi recalled.

Teddi said she questioned herself, "Am I actually doing this because I feel like it's bettering myself or am I doing it because there's a lot of shame associated with women having sex and it changing the identity of the person?"

"And I felt like for me," Teddi explained, "it was connected more to not wanting it to be taken away from my identity. And that's just not a good enough reason for me."

Also, Teddi revealed she is "a sexual person," even though she hasn't had sex.

"I think that women should be [sexual] and they should be okay and happy and proud of that," she noted. "So, yeah, I changed [my mindset] to, 'I waited this long, I want to wait until I'm in love.'"

Natasha gathered that Teddi seems to be waiting for a "real" and "mature" love, and Teddi nodded her head in agreement.

ABC says Teddi "is a catch"

ABC has called Teddi "beautiful, smart and a total hopeless romantic." The network says she is ready to find her soul's counterpart.

Teddi lives by her own rules and has no interest in settling just to settle.
