Us Weekly confirmed Wednesday that the 40-year-old singer and reality TV star moved to end her marriage to Herbert ahead of their ninth wedding anniversary.

Braxton filed for divorce Tuesday in Los Angeles County, according to TMZ. Sources said the pair have had "a rollercoaster relationship" since a domestic dispute at a hotel in Atlanta, Ga., in August 2016.

Braxton and Herbert started dating in 2003 after meeting through Braxton's sister Toni.

Braxton, who shares 4-year-old son Logan with Herbert, had appeared to hint at relationship trouble in recent weeks.

"I am slowly learning that some people are not good for me, no matter how much I love them," the singer re-posted Sept. 1 on Instagram.

"Ppl who are dead wrong but are too full of themselves to admit it are DANGEROUS!!" she added Oct. 6.

Braxton was previously wed to music producer Darrell "Delite" Allamby from 2001 to 2003.
