Survivor legend Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano has teased an upcoming project with Dancing with the Stars competitor Dylan Efron.

"Dylan and I actually have been working on a secret side project that is in production and being edited, and it's going to drop really soon," Rob, 49, teased to Us Weekly.

Rob and Dylan became friends when they each participated in the third season of The Traitors, and they've seemingly been inseparable ever since.

Rob repeatedly crashed Dylan's Dancing with the Stars rehearsals with pro partner Daniella Karagach for the show's currently-airing 34th season on ABC.

And the men have also filmed funny TikTok and Instagram videos together, with Daniella calling herself their "third wheel."

Rob and Dylan have apparently bonded over their love of the outdoors, adventure and reality TV.

"Every time we're together, we're competing at all kinds of different things," Rob said.

"Like, every single thing we do turns into a competition. We were like, 'Man, this is really funny,' and we just got some camera guys to film it."

Fans should be able to watch this footage in just a few short weeks, according to the magazine.

While Dylan won Season 3 of The Traitors, Rob was banished during Episode 7.

Rob, however, has his own bragging rights given he's competed on multiple seasons of Survivor and is a former champion.

Dylan is now hoping to become a champion once again on Dancing with the Stars. He just survived the show's 20th anniversary special and will be competing on the semifinals next week.

"I'm just so proud of him. It's definitely outside of his comfort zone, and he's crushing it," Rob said of Dylan's time on the reality dancing competition.

"Every single week, I talk to him. I hype him up. We talk strategy. There is strategy in dancing, and we have a game plan."

Rob admitted of Dylan, "[He's] trying to get me to go out there next."

But Rob apparently can't picture himself gliding across the ballroom dance floor with a pro partner in his arms.

"It's not my forte," Rob joked.

"But I'm really proud of him and happy. We've been out there a couple of times now, and I'm hoping we make the finale. I'm going to make another trip out."

Rob first competed on Survivor: All-Stars in 2003. He ended up in the Final 2 with his now-wife Amber Brkich, but she walked away with the $1 million via a 4-3 jury vote.

Rob proposed marriage to Amber during the May 2004 live season finale just after Amber won the game, and they went on to wed in April 2005.

Rob and Amber's wedding aired as a special on CBS entitled Rob and Amber Get Married.

And in 2005, Rob and Amber competed as an "Engaged Couple" on the seventh season of The Amazing Race and ultimately finished in second place.

Rob and Amber later returned to The Amazing Race as "Newlyweds" for its 2007 All-Stars installment.

While the pair set a record at the time for finishing the first three legs in first place, they were eliminated during the fourth leg of the Race.

Between their two appearances on The Amazing Race, the couple also filmed a short-lived show for the Fox Reality Channel entitled Rob and Amber: Against the Odds. It aired in 2007 and ran for 10 episodes.

Rob and Amber then celebrated a more personal milestone when they welcomed their first child, Lucia, in July 2009.

Rob proceeded to compete on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains and become the eighth castaway voted out of the game.

Amber gave birth to the couple's second child, Carina, in December 2010, and then Rob was crowned the champion of Survivor: Redemption Island in 2011.

Rob and Amber went on to welcome two more baby girls -- Isabetta in May 2012 and Adelina in June 2014.

Rob later returned for Survivor's 39th season, Survivor: Island of the Idols, as a mentor for the new players alongside Sandra Diaz-Twine. However, he did not compete for the $1 million that season as a castaway.

Rob subsequently competed on Survivor: Winners at War and finished in 17th place.
