The current Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains castaway was arrested in Louisiana early Friday morning after he allegedly "shoved" someone to the ground while attending the Festival International de Louisiane, law enforcement officials told TMZ.

Lafayette City Police arrested the 37-year-old from Dayton, TX for battery immediately after the alleged incident, according to TMZ.

He was subsequently taken to a nearby jail and was eventually released.

Hantz is one of nine castaways still in the running on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains, which filmed late last summer.

He previously finished as the runner-up on Survivor: Samoa.
