Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance castaway Jeff Varner admitted there was one player he was convinced would win the game -- and he wasn't describing himself.

Jeff, who previously competed on Survivor: The Australian Outback and finished in tenth place, confessed during an interview with Entertainment Weekly at the beginning of filming that one particular Season 31 castaway scared him more than anyone else.

Jeff apparently believed Spencer Bledsoe had the best shot to win Survivor, which made for an excellent reason to go after him early on in the game.

"Spencer is the winner of this game," Jeff told EW. "It's Spencer. I think he can win."

While Jeff noted Joe Anglim seemed like a "good contender," Spencer remained at the top of his list of threats.

"Spencer is -- I'm reading a book on body language right in front of everybody... And Spencer is textbook... Spencer thinks he owns this island. You can tell by the way he spreads out and sort of just takes over his territory. He'll stand there and frame his crotch... You can just tell that Spencer is very confident. He's going to do well," Jeff explained.

Jeff had enough confidence to say, however, that he was also a strong contender for the $1 million.

Survivor's next edition premieres Wednesday, September 23 with a special 90-minute broadcast at 8PM ET/PT. The finale of Big Brother's seventeenth season will follow from 9:30-11PM ET/PT.
