The network has announced the identities of the 18 castaways who will be competing on Survivor: Cagayan -- Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty, the 28th Survivor edition which will premiere Wednesday, February 26 at 8PM ET/PT with a special two-hour broadcast.

As previously announced, Survivor: Cagayan -- Brawn vs Brains vs Beauty will feature the castaways being separated into three distinct tribes -- brawn, brains and beauty. Cagayan is a province of the Philippines in the Cagayan Valley Region and the same location where last fall's Survivor: Blood vs. Water edition was filmed.

The three tribes, each comprised of six newbie castaways, "reflect the distinguishing qualities that people bring to the game and test whether there is any truth to the pre-conceived notion that certain characteristics will help you win the game of Survivor... Will the Brains use their expertise solving puzzles to outsmart the others? Will Brawn dominate all the challenges given their physical attributes? Or will Beauty use their looks to master the social game?" according to the network.

The season's cast will star people from all walks of life -- a professional poker player, an attorney, a former NFL cheerleader, a nuclear engineer, the president of the Miami Marlins, and a former NBA All-Star. Only one castaway will be crowned the Sole Survivor in the end and win the grand prize of $1 million.
