While So You Think You Can Dance will debut this summer on a Thursday night, the show will move into its regular two-hour time slot the following week and air on Wednesdays at 8PM ET/PT starting on May 30.

The new season will feature talent discovered during auditions in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Salt Lake City. Cat Deeley will reprise her role as host, while judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy will also return. Adam Shankman, Debbie Allen, Tyce Diorio, Lil' C, Stacey Tookey, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson will serve as guest judges throughout the season.

Fox renewed So You Think You Can Dance for a ninth season last fall and co-creator and executive producer Nigel Lythgoe had announced the show would be doing away with its results shows earlier this year.

"Fox has canceled the results show, so I will have to change the format of So You Think You Can Dance. At least we have another season at the end of May," Lythgoe tweeted in early January.

"Don't worry So You Think You Can Dance fans. I'm thrilled we have a new [season]."

Lythgoe explained at the time that it would still be possible to accommodate home viewer voting despite the lack of a separate results show.

"In order to continue America's vote, results would have to be given the following week," he subsequently tweeted.

In addition to So You Think You Can Dance's ninth-season premiere, Fox also announced it will air not one, not two, but three Gordon Ramsay reality shows this summer. The tenth season of Hell's Kitchen will premiere on Tuesday, May 29 at 8PM ET/PT and be followed by the third-season debut of MasterChef at 9PM ET/PT.

Ramsay's new Hotel Hell reality series -- a Kitchen Nightmares-like show which will feature the chef renovating and transforming hotels, inns, and bed and breakfasts in trouble -- will premiere the following week on Monday, June 4 at 8PM ET/PT.
