Nick Garcia, an 18-year-old Latin Ballroom dancer from Miami, FL, and Malene Ostergaard, a 25-year-old Ballroom dancer from Aarhus, Denmark, were eliminated by So You Think You Can Dance judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy as well as guest judge Misty Copeland after they found themselves in the week's bottom-six dancers based on home viewer votes cast immediately following last Wednesday night's show.

America's vote from last week determined the bottom three guys and the bottom three girls after the Top 20 finalists performed in their own preferred dance styles.

The other four bottom-six vote-getting dancers in danger of elimination prior to Nick and Malene's ouster were Brooklyn Fullmer, an 18-year-old Latin Ballroom dancer from Provo, UT; Casey Askew, a 19-year-old Contemporary dancer from Seattle, WA; Jourdan Epstein, a 24-year-old Ballet dancer from Plymouth, MN; and Serge Onik, a 26-year-old Latin Ballroom dancer from Upper Saddle River, NJ.

This week, the Top 20 finalists were paired off and each couple performed one routine, which happened to be a dance style selected at random. The bottom-six dancers tried their best to impress the So You Think You Can Dance judges with their routines in the hopes of surviving the week of competition.

Nick took the stage with a swing-dance routine with partner Jessica Richens, an 18-year-old Jazz dancer from Yorba Linda, CA. Malene danced a Broadway jazz routine with partner Stanley Glover, a 19-year-old Contemporary dancer from Chicago, IL.

Following the night's performances, the judges were required to eliminate two individuals -- one male and one female -- and they opted to send home Nick and Malene.

So You Think You Can Dance's third eleventh-season performance show, which will also feature another round of elimination results, will air on Wednesday, July 16 at 8PM ET/PT and the 18 remaining finalists will dance again for home viewer votes.
