"Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they're shared," Janelle captioned a selfie with her love interest.
"I wasn't looking. I certainly wasn't expecting you. And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn't know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful."
Janelle added, "Everyone please meet Pete."
Janelle is showing off her man about four years after announcing her permanent split from Kody Brown.
When Janelle spiritually married Kody in 1993, she agreed to share him with other women. Janelle was therefore "sister wives" with Christine Brown and Meri Brown in the 1990s.
Kody later wed Robyn Brown, his fourth wife, in a spiritual ceremony.
Christine and Kody announced their separation in November 2021, and she later remarried.
Janelle and Kody welcomed six children together during their relationship, but she announced their decision to separate in December 2022. Meri confirmed her split from Kody shortly afterward in January 2023.
Kody and Robyn, however, are still together, and she currently remains his only wife.
After Janelle and Kody called it quits, Janelle admitted in 2023 that she wasn't quite ready to dip her toes back in the dating pool.
"I deeply believe in my faith," she said during an episode of Sister Wives at the time, according to Us Weekly.

"I have been so much at peace that I don't know how to reconcile that. So that's where my debate with myself is all the time because I know I'm happy. I don't want him to come back, but my faith requires that we are married eternally."
The following year, Janelle clarified during an interview with People that she and Kody were never "legally married" since their union had been a spiritual one.
"I can't really say I'm divorced," she noted at the time. "I just say 'I'm no longer with' [him] when I explain it to outside people. I'm like, 'I'm no longer with my partner.'"
Janelle also didn't seem interested in dating again in early 2025.
"My marriage is over," she reportedly said on the "Sibling Revelry" podcast.
"I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage. So I'm not even thinking about, like, 'Oh, what do I need to do?' Because I'm just like, I am over [it]."
Janelle subsequently revealed during a January 2026 episode of Sister Wives that she was granted a "spiritual release" from her church, the Apostolic United Brethren, according to Us.
"That was easy," she gushed of her release. "I thought I was going to have to come back for a second meeting. I am free."
