Simon Cowell must be anxiously awaiting the birth of his first child.

Cowell reportedly rushed out of a Britain's Got Talent taping in the U.K. on Friday, boarded a private jet and is heading to New York to be at his girlfriend's side, according to a source.
The couple is expecting a baby boy and news of the pregnancy first surfaced in July. Cowell hinted in September of last year he may propose to and marry Silverman, 36, since they're going to have a child together.
"Let's put it this way, I wouldn't expect her to be a single mother," Cowell told Ryan Seacrest several months ago during an appearance on his On-Air with Ryan Seacrest syndicated radio show.
