Chrishell said she and the non-binary Australian musician, 33, plan to handle this breakup maturely and amicably.
"I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys. G and I are no longer together," Chrishell began.
"We have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That's not hard for me because I am in love with this person, and I don't have all the information or the reasons."
Chrishell continued, "I'm sure, just like always, with time, you know, you get the lessons you're meant to get. And I know that will happen."
Chrishell -- who said she's "definitely never doing this again" -- insisted she's going to "heal" and everything is going to be "fine."
Chrishell explained that she wanted to share the news in a video instead of issuing a "cold, written statement" because fans have supported the couple throughout their relationship. She became tearful as she described feeling vulnerable and disappointed.
"I feel like a little bit of a failure," she said, adding that she needs time to process what happened.
"There's nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself. I just have to kind of heal and figure this out. It's hard. It's painful."
Chrishell also said being someone who loves deeply has made the breakup especially difficult. She reflected that the relationship may not have been a failure, even though it ended differently than she had pictured.
"I'm a lover girl. I swing big. I miss," she noted.
"[But] I had an amazing over four years with G. Maybe that's not a miss, you know. Maybe it's just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined."

Chrishell closed by thanking fans for their support and saying she will always love G Flip.
"And I don't ever really see that changing," she admitted. "This sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy and I wish that for both of us, so thank you."
G Flip shared a separate statement on Instagram shortly afterward. The musician said they "will always love" Chrishell, value their connection and cherish their time together.
G Flip also asked for privacy as they navigate this difficult period in their lives.
"We will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply," G Flip wrote.
"My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now, and I'm not able to talk, but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time."
During their marriage, Chrishell and G Flip spoke openly about challenges they faced while trying to start a family, including a difficult in vitro fertilization journey.
"It's such a hard thing," G Flip told People in 2025, discussing IVF for queer and straight couples, single people and others. They described experiencing periods of sadness and uncertainty alongside moments of hope.

The musician also previously discussed struggling with Chrishell's Netflix reality series. G Flip appeared on Selling Sunset several times but said filming was uncomfortable for them.
"Every scene I'm in, I'm secretly hating it," G Flip told the magazine, adding that they admired the cast members for trying to be themselves while surrounded by cameras.
Chrishell was an original cast member on Selling Sunset, which follows the staff of a luxury real estate brokerage in L.A. called The Oppenheim Group, when it premiered on Netflix in March 2019.
Chrishell starred on nine seasons of Selling Sunset before announcing her departure in November 2025.
"I've gotten to a place where I don't need the show financially," she told Bustle in November 2025. "I'm lucky to have other forms of employment, because it's no longer good for my mental health."
Chrishell made a bold statement by saying that not even "Jesus Christ himself" could persuade her to return to Selling Sunset for its new season.
Season 9 of Selling Sunset aired in late 2025, and the show is currently filming its tenth season.
In addition to her time on Selling Sunset, Chrishell competed on Dancing with the Stars' 29th season with pro partner Gleb Savchenko in 2020.
ABC executive Robert Mills shocked The Bachelorette fans in December 2020 when he told Nick Viall on "The Viall Files" podcast that Chrishell had actually been producers' first choice to star on Season 4 of The Bachelorette.
But producers decided to go in a different direction and cast DeAnna Pappas as The Bachelorette star once America watched Brad Womack break her heart twice.
When Brad first starred as the Bachelor, he rejected both of his Final 2 bachelorettes, DeAnna and Jenni Croft, and then dumped DeAnna a second time on After the Final Rose.
