Robby Hayes is clearly a frontrunner in The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher's mind, but his past definitely scares her.

Robby, a 27-year-old entrepreneur, was the first bachelor to tell Fletcher that he loved her, which won him major points but also made the Bachelorette fear he was trying to fill a void after his long-term relationship with ex-girlfriend Hope Higginbotham had just ended in late December.

Once Fletcher met Hayes' family in St. Augustine, Florida, she fell for the bachelor even harder and even confessed she was falling in love to his mother. However, Higginbotham came up again when the mother warned Hayes of speculation on the Internet he went on The Bachelorette for the wrong reasons.

Hayes did everything he could to convince Fletcher he was on the show for true love and completely over his ex. She chose to believe and trust him, but could that affect his chances of winning her heart?
