Apparently wherever Tyra Banks goes, America's Next Top Model follows.

The creator, judge and executive producer on The CW reality competition series is also the host of the syndicated talk show The Tyra Banks Show, which according to a Monday report in Daily Variety, is currently in "serious conversations" to relocate from Los Angeles to New York City.

The Tyra Banks Show is produced by Telepictures, which has already renewed it for two more seasons and is said to be considering shifting the show cross country to give it a different energy and potential guest pool, according to Variety.

If the reality show move does happen, it shouldn't come as a total surprise to Top Model fans -- although Top Model has filmed its last five seasons in Los Angeles, the show's first three seasons were shot in New York.  Top Model's production only moved to Los Angeles after plans for Banks' talk show, which premiered in September 2005, were already announced, therefore it would only seem natural that if the talk show were to relocate to another city, so would Top Model.

Last month, Banks -- in a move that, in hindsight, may very well have been a hint that the show will be relocating -- stated that Top Model's Fall 2007 ninth season will somehow differ from the show's recent editions.

"Season 9 is coming up in the fall and it's a whole rebirth of Top Model that I can't talk about right now," Banks told Extra during the syndicated entertainment news program's May 16 broadcast.
