Kate Gosselin won't be spreading holiday cheer via a new album.

A representative for the Kate Plus 8 star labeled a recent report that she's "pitching a CD of holiday songs sung by herself and all her children" as "absolutely untrue," Us Weekly reported on Friday.

The former Dancing with the Stars tenth-season celebrity participant was responding to a record executive who told AOL's Pop Eater website on Thursday that the album was being shopped.

"She sees herself as a modern day Maria from The Sound of Music, except this time the family singers won't be the Von Trap family, they would be the Gosselins," the unnamed executive told Pop Eater.

The album was to include all of Gosselin's "favorite religious classics," according to Pop Eater, which added Gosselin had yet to be offered a deal by a major label.

TLC will air its next Kate Plus 8 special -- which will follow Gosselin and her eight children as they tackle some projects around the house -- on Sunday, July 11 at 9PM ET/PT.
