In addition, the network has revealed it will air a live runway show prior to Project Runway's tenth-season debut, which will feature its 16 designers showing off their collections in New York's Times Square to celebrate the show's anniversary.

The live runway show -- which will serve as the designers' first challenge of the upcoming edition and take place on Friday, June 15 at 8PM -- will force the contestants to not only prove they have "creativity, skills and passion" to Project Runway judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, along with mentor Tim Gunn, but they'll also have to show off their ensembles to a critical audience in a popular spot.

Filmed in New York, each 90-minute episode of Project Runway's tenth season will showcase the talent of the designers on the runway and the drama of the competition behind the scenes. Similar to prior seasons, Project Runway's tenth season will end with a finale show at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week.
The winning designer will receive a grand-prize package featuring $100,000 from L'Oreal Paris to start his or her own line, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine, a brand new Lexus vehicle, a $50,000 technology suite from HP and Intel to create his or her own vision and a business, and the opportunity to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor.

Lord & Taylor will also host a challenge during one of the season's episodes that will allow consumers to purchase a designer's work in the store's Fifth Avenue flagship. In addition, the model paired with the winner of Project Runway will also appear in the designer's editorial feature in Marie Claire and receive $25,000.

Project Runway is produced by The Weinstein Company, Miramax Films, Bunim-Murray Productions, and Full Picture. Bob Weinstein, Harvey Weinstein, Meryl Poster, Jonathan Murray, Sara Rea, Colleen Sands, Klum, Jane Cha Cutler, Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy, David Hillman, and Desiree Gruber serve as executive producers.
