Josh Duggar's dark past is apparently worse than the public has been led to believe thus far.

According to a new Washington County Sheriff's Office police report obtained by In Touch Weekly, Josh was actually 15-years-old when he molested his five-year-old sister and committed at least seven acts of sexual molestation.

To add fuel to the fire, Josh reportedly confessed his offenses to his father Jim Bob Duggar on three separate occasions -- including details of how he had forcibly fondled many of his sisters as well as a family friend.

The original police report from 2006 was published by the Springdale Police Department, according to In Touch, and only five victims had been named. The information presented had also made it seem like Josh admitted his scandalous acts to his father only once.

The Duggars then waited at least 16 months to notify police about Josh's crimes, according to the magazine, as his behavior continued to worsen.

In adddition, the family allegedly failed to get counseling for Josh or the victims in this case for well over a year. Jim Bob and his wife Michelle Duggar have told the media they got everyone involved therapy, but it's unclear as to whether it was court ordered once Families In Need of Services and the Arkansas Department of Human Services became acquainted with the situation.

The new Washington County police report claims Josh had molested multiple sisters in one night, touching one girl's genitals and breasts before heading over to the next while they were sleeping in a common room. Josh allegedly confided in his father in March 2002, saying he had four to five offenses under his belt.

Jim Bob and Michelle could've faced six years behind bars for their silence, as they would have reportedly been charged with Permitting Abuse of a Minor had the statute of limitations in Arkansas not expired when authorities began investigating in 2006. At the time, police turned Josh's case over to social services.

While the Duggars insist they had confessed Josh's molestation history to state trooper Joseph Hutchens, Jim Bob and Josh only spoke of once incident, In Touch reported, and so Hutchens didn't report them to the child abuse hotline.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office passed the investigation on to Springdale police for jurisdiction reasons.

Josh is now 27-years-old, a husband to Anna Duggar and a father of three children with another baby on the way. The former 19 Kids & Counting star has apologized numerous times for his mistakes, expressing deep sorrow and regret, as have his parents.

Jim Bob and Michelle will be participating in a sit-down interview with Fox News' Megyn Kelly through which they'll discuss Josh's past. The Kelly File interview will air Wednesday, June 3 at 9PM ET/PT as well as Friday, June 5 on Fox.
